Every day there is a new one… as soon as people know what you are involved with, they tell you something. Today it was someone unconnected with anything to do with hunting or the film… when I mentioned the film she immediately told me that at three or four years old she was in the garden in Yorkshire when the hound pack came into the garden and surrounded her in a ring, they were lunging at her. The family dog was going mad and this alerted her mother who rushed out of the house and swearing and shouting got the hounds away. This is close to what happened in Worcester last year – an incident of a small child in the garden when the hounds came in and surrounded him. Luckily his grandmother was with him, but the hounds found the fox hiding behind the garage and tore it to pieces in front of them as it screamed in terror and pain. This incident is featured in the film…
